43-year-old USTA Tennis Champion Dies During Match

A 43-year-old Nevada fell to the ground and tragically passed away during a tennis match at Red Rock Country Club on January 29, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

The club tennis champion, Ryan Vannah, was later pronounced dead after he had been checked into the Summerlin Hospital.

Ryan’s sister, Tami Vannah Kang, expressed shock at the incident, telling LVRJ that her brother “took impeccable care of his health,” and that nobody could have predicted it.

“He was so fit. He lifted weights. He looked like a bodybuilder to me. He was huge. We did not see this coming,” said Tami.

“He was a friend to anyone,” said Dan Michalski, who was a friend to Ryan. “The whole tennis community is really shaken by this.”

Ryan reportedly “dropped to a knee” while taking part in a tiebreaker mixed doubles match, put both his hands on the ground, and lied down.

Family members who are still around after Ryan’s untimely death include his parents, three siblings, a fiancée, a sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and 13 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Vannah at the Las Vegas Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is slated to take place at 10 a.m. on February 11.

Ryan’s passing comes at a time when numerous reports of young athletes have suffered from severe medical emergencies, often during sports games.

One recent example was that of the 24-year-old football player Damar Hamlin, who underwent cardiac arrest on January 2, 2023, after a tackle involving Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins.

As Florida Surgeon General Joe Ladapo noted in September of 2022, a higher incidence of cardiac-related deaths has been observed in young men who have taken Covid-19 inoculations. At the time, Twitter blocked and later restored his post on the matter, according to a report by Politico.

The CDC has noted that cases of heart inflammation are generally more common in young adult men.

Many people reacting to the story have claimed that Ryan’s tragic death may have been related to the Covid-19 inoculations. Our research thus far has indicated that it is unknown whether or not Ryan has partaken in this experimental treatment.
