President Joe Biden states that he should have taken care of while he was in Congress. Biden could have easily written and introduced bills that would change situations in the Black American community.
Biden said, “We’ve worked hard to reverse decades of underinvestment in Black communities, for vaccine shots in the arms, to checks in pockets, to tax cuts for working families or children, to landmark investment of $5.8 billion in historically Black college university.”
So, after decades of denying funding, former President Donald Trump started funding again, but this is Biden’s achievement? What?
Biden also pushed the lie that Black Americans can’t vote by saying, “And we’re not going to rest until we protect the foundation of our democracy, the sacred right to vote as we celebrate Black History Month. Let’s carry forward the labor of our lives together to dismantle systemic racism in every part of our society to fight for dignity and to fulfill America’s promise for everyone.”
Biden promised a Black American female Supreme Court Justice by the end of the month, but spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said no in-person interviews haven’t begun.
The racism behind selecting a candidate by their race is deep. It takes away any achievement that should have been earned when the most significant part of the nomination is whether someone is Black or not. That doesn’t send a good message to our children and shouldn’t be condoned. Imagine if Biden was looking for a White Supreme Court Justice. How would you feel then?
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) said, “The fact that he’s willing to make an early promise that it has to be a black woman. That, I must say, is offensive.”
Cruz is a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and can stop extremist candidates on both sides of the political spectrum.
Cruz made a good point, “And he’s also saying it’s an insult to Black women if he came and said. ‘I, going to put the best jurist on the court,’ and he looked at some people and he ended up nominating a Black woman, he could credibly say, ‘Okay, I’m nominating the person who’s most qualified.’”
That’s precisely why Biden’s Black woman nomination is racist. The Supreme Court is the uppermost in the entire world. It doesn’t matter if there are only Asian or Hispanic justices. If they’re the chief justices that could be nominated and selected, then we did our job as Americans, and our politicians did everything they could to be fair.
Many people urged Biden to keep his promise to eliminate student loan debt.
One user tweeted, “Canceling student loans would help Black families (Black people carry the disproportionate weight of these loans) #CancelStudentDebt #CancelStudentLoans #CancelStudentDebtNow.”
