President Joe Biden’s State of the Union wasn’t a report on the state of our union. The entire message was that Biden’s administration has some good things up their sleeves for the American people, which was his whole campaign message and his inauguration message. What’s changed? Nothing. Biden has failed at almost everything that he’s tried his hand at, which goes straight into Vice President Kamala Harris’ message of “They order what they want and in this case, they got what they asked for.” Harris spoke about the Supreme Court Justice nomination that was only inclusive of Black women.
Biden seemed to forget about the withdrawal from Afghanistan. It wasn’t mentioned during the SOTU, so you know that Biden didn’t want to bring attention to it. Luckily, Lauren Boebert (R-CO) reminded Biden and everyone else about the 13 soldiers that lost their lives during the withdrawal, which should have been an accomplishment for Biden.
When Biden said, “They come home, many of the world’s fittest and best-trained warriors in the world, never the same. Headaches, numbness, dizziness. Cancer that would put them in a flag-draped coffin.”
Boebert yelled out, “You put them in! Thirteen of them!”
Biden may have been speaking about burn pits and his new cancer initiative, but the comment was well placed. Boebert is getting a lot of push back from the comment, but those who know why she said it are thankful that she did.
Other than the Infrastructure Bill, Biden has been completely blocked on the Build Back Better Bill that he ran on and pushed for months. It’s been a failure and thank God it has. Spending money right now isn’t a good idea. The funds placed into growth wouldn’t make up for any loss the American people have seen in the last couple of years. The time frame would take way too long and it would ultimately suspend growth because by the time it kicks in and helps, if you believe it would, to begin with, you’re going to see Americans so far behind that they still can’t get back on top of things.
Biden has also further divided his voter base by saying we should strengthen the borders and fund the police. What? The border issue has been a considerable concern for a long time. Biden has made almost no moves to fix it and former President Donald Trump even added to Biden’s claim that state-of-the-art technology has been added.
Biden turning his back on those key issues will turn voters away from him and keep the focus local, which is by design. Suppose his voter base, which is dismal at best, starts to disagree with him and feel even more displeasure than they already felt. In that case, they’re going to look more local so that their local and state politicians can go to Washington, DC and fix the problem that has become President Joe Biden. It’s a tactical move by the Democrat party to try and swing the 2022 midterms in their direction. That’s no admittance that it will work, but it does explain the switch. Nothing will be done, though. Biden’s all talk and no action and it’s evident within his last year and two months.
