Catholic priest flirts with TV star at restaurant

A rather unexpected admirer caught Dorinda Medley’s attention at the renowned Rao’s restaurant in East Harlem – a Catholic priest who wasn’t shy about expressing his interest. During her appearance on “Page Six Radio,” the 60-year-old former “Real Housewives of New York City” star shared this amusing tale with hosts Evan Real, Ian Mohr, and Danny Murphy, declaring herself “a 10 at Rao’s” while jokingly rating herself much lower on Park Avenue.

She attributed her appeal at Rao’s to its clientele of “old school” patrons, mostly “Queens mafia guys” who, according to her, find her “mob wife” persona particularly attractive. The highlight of her evening came when a distinguished-looking Italian priest, whom she estimated to be in his late 70s or early 80s, caught her eye. Being Catholic herself, Medley admitted to experiencing conflicting emotions about finding a priest attractive.

The situation reached its peak when the priest approached her through a mutual acquaintance. Upon meeting her, he boldly declared, “Oh, yes, I saw her! I don’t know who she is, but lemme tell ya something: If I weren’t a priest, if this collar weren’t on tonight…”

The encounter left Medley elated. The twice-married reality star, who was previously wed to Ralph Lynch (with whom she shares daughter Hannah) and the late Richard Medley, has been single since ending her seven-year relationship with John Mahdessian in 2019. Having expressed hopes for a third marriage in March 2022, perhaps Rao’s could serve as the perfect wedding venue.
