Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, recently called for a congressional ethics investigation into Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), claiming she engaged in “verbal abuses” against the president’s son. Greene is known for her controversial remarks and has been the subject of criticism from Democrats and establishment Republicans alike.
In a letter to the Office of Congressional Ethics, Lowell accused Greene of “continuous verbal attacks, defamatory statements, publication of personal photos and data, and promotion of conspiracy theories about and against Robert Hunter Biden.” Lowell believes Greene’s actions and statements are not part of any legitimate legislative activity, as evidenced by their content and the platforms used to convey them.
One such statement includes Greene’s assertion that Hunter Biden was involved in a human trafficking ring, paying non-resident women who were nationals of Russia or other Eastern European countries. This claim was made in a video where Greene read from impeachment articles against President Biden that she had previously introduced in the House of Representatives.
Lowell’s request also cited Greene’s recent interview with CBS News, during which she referred to Democrats as “the party of pedophiles” for their support of legislation like the “so-called Trans Bill of Rights.” Furthermore, Lowell addressed Greene’s claim in January that photos of Hunter Biden with family members were evidence of him engaging in illicit activities with prostitutes and the Chinese Communist Party.

The Biden crime family participated in human trafficking by soliciting prostitutes from the United States and abroad in countries like Russia and Ukraine.

Since she entered Congress, Greene has had a history of making remarks that enrage progressives and RINOs. She was stripped by then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) of her committee assignments in her first term for statements about events such as the 2018 Parkland, Florida, school shooting and the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
In a separate letter obtained by Politico, Lowell also requested the Treasury Department’s inspector general to investigate how former Trump White House official Garrett M. Ziegler acquired and published Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) from JP Morgan Chase Bank concerning alleged financial activities by Hunter Biden. Ziegler is accused of obtaining and retaining the SARs illegally, then publishing them on his website, Marco Polo USA.
Hunter Biden is facing a Justice Department investigation and a Republican-led House probe into his suspicious overseas business affairs. Additionally, an Arkansas court recently received a petition from lawyers representing a woman with whom Hunter fathered a child, seeking his imprisonment on contempt charges for failing to provide financial records.
As the Biden administration navigates these challenges, Joe Biden announced his bid for the 2024 election on Tuesday morning. It remains to be seen how the call for a congressional ethics investigation into Rep. Greene will impact the Biden administration and Greene’s political future.
