A new lawsuit filed Friday alleges that Kanye West sexually assaulted a model during a 2010 music video shoot. Former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Jenifer “Jenn” An claims the incident occurred while filming La Roux’s “In for the Kill” at New York City’s Chelsea Hotel.

According to the complaint, West arrived with his then-girlfriend Selita Ebanks and took command of the production despite the presence of director Kinga Burza. The lawsuit states that West selected An from a lineup of models, allegedly saying “Give me the Asian girl,” making her feel uncomfortable.

Dressed only in lingerie, An claims West proceeded to physically assault her on camera. The complaint details how he allegedly strangled her with both hands and smothered her face, ruining her makeup. The lawsuit further describes West allegedly forcing his fingers down her throat in a manner mimicking forced oral sex.

During the alleged assault, West reportedly exclaimed, “This is art. This is f–king art. I am like Picasso.”

The model reports attempting to resist while struggling to breathe, eventually experiencing a temporary blackout. She claims Ebanks witnessed the incident but turned away when their eyes met.

The lawsuit also targets Universal Music Group, alleging they failed to investigate the incident due to West’s profitability. An seeks damages for violations of New York federal laws, including strangulation and sexually motivated felony charges.

The model describes ongoing trauma from the incident, citing emotional distress, humiliation, and physical suffering. She maintains the experience has caused lasting monetary damages and loss of life enjoyment.

Representatives for West and Ebanks have not responded to requests for comment.
