Republican Senator MARRIES – Huge Surprise!

It was a jubilation for Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) when he married interior designer Mindy Noce on Saturday at Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant.

According to The Daily Caller News Foundation, Scott, 58, and Noce, 47, made history as the first couple in over 50 years where a sitting U.S. senator from South Carolina got married. The Post and Courier noted that Scott had been praying for a wife since his late 20s but found his romantic life unchanged into his 40s, leading him to question if his prayers were being heard.

The wedding ceremony featured a reading from the fourth chapter of Ecclesiastes, starting with “Two are better than one.” Following the vows, Scott and Noce shared their first dance to “Swayin’ to the Music” by Johnny Rivers, according to the outlet.

The night before the wedding, Scott expressed to The Post and Courier that after decades of waiting, he felt it was finally the right time to marry his bride.

“Part of the blessing for me was not getting married before now,” Scott said. “Right girl, wrong time is a mess. Wrong girl, right time is chaos … I think marriage helps you understand that maybe it’s not the only mission on the planet to get what you want, but it is to help others enjoy the journey of life, as well to be an ambassador of hope.

Scott was one of the hot favorites to replace former vice President Mike PencePence as Former President Donald Trump’s running mate. The former president, however, picked Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH).

Prior to Vance’s selection, Scott told FOX & Friends co-host Ainsley Earhardt alongside Noce —the senator’s fiancee at the time— that he would be a better surrogate for the former president than he was a candidate for the Republican nomination. The GOP senator also revealed that he wants whatever job can help him succeed in his mission from God to Americans.

“Anyone who’s chosen to be the vice president, it is such an honor,” Scott said. “This is a kid growing up in poverty right here in Charleston having an opportunity to continue to influence this country. I desperately want to fulfill the mission the good lord has given me and whatever the position is that helps me get that done, on behalf of the American people, I want to do that every single day.”
