Sarah Silverman Isn’t Racist, But Some Call Her That

As the holidays are among us, the left is collapsing on itself. Sarah Silverman, a comedian, has been criticized for racism because of her comments to Joy Reid. Silverman responded to Reid’s tweet referencing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as a fascist because he proposed a civilian-military group in Florida.

Reid’s tweet said, “So y’all know this is fascists bananas, right?”

Silverman told her that she needed to research before making such statements, and now she’s being called racist. You can’t criticize someone different from you without being called a racist. It was an understanding that only Republicans could be racist, but maybe the rules have changed.

Even while President Joe Biden says “Negro” in a press conference, Silverman is attacked?

The only thing Silverman said was, “Please read the article before you post this stuff. You’re a news outlet. The truth has to matter.”

On Silverman’s podcast, she said, “We’re so divided we can’t even criticize, critique the people on our side. We can’t even critique anyone in your party without punishment.”

The funny thing is that Republicans will welcome anyone into the party even if they aren’t a Republican if they go against the ridiculous narratives of the Democrat party. Who knew that the Republican party was accepting and the Democrats weren’t?

Silverman mocked The View host, saying, “What hubris for Sarah Silverman to accuse a black woman of not reading,” before adding, “Oy! Jesus, What the f*cking. Oh, my goodness!” It’s instructive to see how the left insists on labeling everyone as racist when they disagree with an ideology. Silverman has never been a racist in any way.

“I can’t believe I have to say it, but I didn’t criticize Joy-Ann because she’s black. I criticized her because she’s a Harvard-educated journalist with the responsibility, ideally, of showing the whole picture, not just a piece of a picture.”

Journalism is dead. The news acts as an education system rather than an information platform. It’s taken the form of a college or parent where you must agree, or you fail, but instead of failing a test, they act as if you fail at life.

Silverman then said, “Where can I get plain old news? I need a news source that provides only the facts to form my own opinion. It’s just facts, and then I create my own opinion about them. That would be fantastic. Sometimes I want to come to my conclusions. I mean, I’m curious about other people’s thoughts, but it can’t just be that.”

There are different platforms for different forms of information. Podcasts have become so popular in the last couple of years because news has become more biased.
