Stephen Colbert has taken a turn for the radical on his show “Colbert Report” after dancing and singing a song about the COVID-19 vaccines in the cringiest dressed-up musical that anyone has ever seen. Colbert used to be funny with a Democrat twist on stories, but the new radical Democrat party has no middle ground on topics.
Colbert talked to Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) about political topics, but before that, he pushed the voting rights that Democrats are pushing as equal rights. There are people few and far between that have a hard time voting. Everyone has access to identification because it’s necessary for many things that Americans do daily. Buying alcohol, firearms, tobacco, getting onto a plane, and even getting the COVID-19 vaccine requires identification.
Colbert’s new target is Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), who opposes the voting rights bill and ends the filibuster. He called Sinema “Mrs. Hamburglar” because of a picture where it appears Sinema is wearing a garment that resembles the Hamburglar.
Colbert then disagreed that Americans and politicians support the filibuster by saying that the majority represents more Americans than the minority party of Republicans. But that doesn’t matter. The filibuster is designed to make sure legislation isn’t passed and a majority doesn’t support that. Colbert doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
He said to stop acting like the filibuster is “anything but an anti-democratic tool” and compared Sinema to the anti-democratic tool he was speaking about.
Sinema represents what democracy is supposed to look like. She describes her constituents accurately and with no regard to what others think about her. That’s what politicians are supposed to do. They’re supposed to be voices of the American people rather than voices of the radicals who want to rip out the fundamental values that Americans hold.
Let’s not act like we know why the filibuster is a big deal. With federalized voting legislation, Democrats who currently hold power will take over elections so that they can usher in whatever they want.
Sinema isn’t even against the voting rights bills. She said, “While I continue to support these (voting rights) bills, I will not support separate actions that worsen the underlying disease of division infecting our country.”
Sinema and Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) aren’t the only Democrats against ending the filibuster. That means that they represent the majority that opposes ending the filibuster making Colbert an idiot.
Democrats used the filibuster to stop sanctions on Russia’s Nord Stream II Pipeline. Democrats are just doing what they’re told. There’s no other excuse to want to end something that they’re currently using themselves. They’re like brain-dead idiots that don’t know how to think for themselves.
If it couldn’t get any better, Warren joined in to blame Republicans for trying to stop people from voting. She seems to think America is a bubble, and we can’t function without governmental assistance at every turn. Opposing a voting bill that can’t be described as a voting rights bill isn’t stopping anyone from voting. Adding security measures to the voting process prevents anyone from voting either. Warren is an obsolete politician that should have retired years ago.
