Trudeau Tries To Gaslight the World About His Vaccine Position

Tyrannical Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who once expressed his “admiration” for communist China’s “basic dictatorship,” attempted to rewrite history on Monday by claiming that he had never forced any Canadian citizens to get the COVID vaccine.

During a conversation with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the University of Ottawa, Trudeau discussed his actions during the COVID pandemic — stating that he had followed medical experts’ advice about how “vaccination was going to be the way through this.”

The authoritarian prime minister went on to claim that he had only used “incentives” to get Canadians to take the COVID vaccine — stating that his government had not been “forcing” people to get vaccinated.

“And therefore, while not forcing anyone to get vaccinated, I chose to make sure all the incentives and all the protections were there to encourage Canadians to get vaccinated,” Trudeau falsely claimed.

Despite his claim, evidence shows that Trudeau’s government had, in fact, forced citizens to get the COVID vaccine.

Some of that evidence comes directly from an October 2021 statement on the Canadian government’s website — where Trudeau announced “mandatory vaccination for the federal workforce and federally regulated transportation sectors.”

“Thanks to the millions of Canadians who rolled up their sleeves to get vaccinated, and now with 82 percent of eligible Canadians fully vaccinated, Canada is a world leader on COVID-19 vaccinations,” the statement began. “As the country’s largest employer, the Government of Canada will continue to play a leadership role in protecting the safety of our workplaces, our communities, and all Canadians by ensuring that as many of them as possible are fully vaccinated.”

Note that the statement explained that the “Government of Canada” was “the country’s largest employer.” The statement went on to announce that federal employees would be required to receive the COVID vaccine or be “placed on administrative leave without pay.”

“The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Chrystia Freeland, today announced details of the government’s plans to require COVID-19 vaccination across the federal public service and federally regulated transportation sectors,” the statement read.

“Under the new policy, federal public servants in the Core Public Administration, including members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, will be required to confirm their vaccination status by October 29, 2021,” the statement continued. “Those who are unwilling to disclose their vaccination status or to be fully vaccinated will be placed on administrative leave without pay as early as November 15, 2021.”

Federal government employees weren’t the only ones that the Canadian government proudly announced would be forced to get vaccinated, as the statement then mandated that employees in federally regulated sectors — and everyone traveling by plane, rail or train — get the COVID vaccine as well.

“Employers in the federally regulated air, rail, and marine transportation sectors will have until October 30, 2021, to establish vaccination policies that ensure employees are vaccinated,” the statement read. “Effective October 30, 2021, travelers departing from Canadian airports, and travelers on VIA Rail and Rocky Mountaineer trains, will be required to be fully vaccinated, with very limited exceptions. The government is working with industry and key partners to put a strict vaccine requirement in place for cruise ships before the resumption of the 2022 cruise season.”

While Trudeau and many other leftists claim that these mandates do not “force” vaccinations, as people are free to quit their jobs and stop traveling to avoid getting vaccinated, it is clear that threatening to take away people’s livelihoods and restrict freedom of movement is literally the government enacting force against the people to get them to comply.

Beyond the mandates, Trudeau even asked during a speech if Canada should even “tolerate these people” — referring to people who are against vaccination.

“But there are also people who are fiercely against vaccination who don’t believe in science. They’re often misogynists, also often racists. It’s a small group, but they take up some space. And we have to make a choice… Do we tolerate these people?” he asked.
