Trump Campaign HACKED – Major Breach!

Former President Trump’s campaign confirmed to Fox News on Saturday that there had been a breach in its internal communications.

The campaign became aware of the issue after the liberal media outlet Politico contacted them, reporting that it had received internal documents from the Trump team.

The report noted that the outlet started receiving emails from an individual going by the name “Robert,” who used an anonymous AOL account. These emails began arriving on July 22, just days after the Republican National Convention concluded and Trump announced Vance as his vice-presidential pick.

“I suggest you don’t be curious about where I got them from,” the individual told Politico when asked how they got the documents. “Any answer to this question, will compromise me and also legally restricts you from publishing them.”

It’s uncertain whether Politico utilized any of the hacked materials in their coverage. When contacted, Politico referred Fox News Digital back to their original report.

Steven Cheung, communications director for the Trump campaign, confirmed the news of the hack in a statement.

“These documents were obtained illegally from foreign sources hostile to the United States, intended to interfere with the 2024 election and sow chaos throughout our Democratic process,” Cheung said. “On Friday, a new report from Microsoft found that Iranian hackers broke into the account of a ‘high ranking official’ on the U.S. presidential campaign in June 2024, which coincides with the close timing of President Trump’s selection of a Vice Presidential nominee.”

Cheung pointed out that the alleged hack by Iran occurred following recent reports of an Iranian plot to assassinate President Trump, coinciding with the Butler, PA incident.

“The Iranians know that President Trump will stop their reign of terror just like he did in his first four years in the White House. Any media or news outlet reprinting documents or internal communications are doing the bidding of America’s enemies and doing exactly what they want,” Chung added.

According to Politico, documents shared with the outlet contained a 271-page “dossier” compiled by the Trump campaign about his future running mate, Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio. The dossier, reportedly from February, detailed Vance’s prior positions on various topics, his public statements, and past criticisms of Trump. This information was organized under a section titled “POTENTIAL VULNERABILITIES.”

The Trump campaign has not indicated whether they have reached out to law enforcement regarding the alleged hacking incident.
