On Thursday, the Trump campaign labeled Vice President Kamala Harris as “still a San Francisco radical” following her repeated assertions in a CNN interview that her values “have not changed,” despite questions regarding her evolving positions on topics such as fracking and illegal immigration.
Harris made these remarks in a pre-recorded interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, conducted alongside vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz. The interview aired Thursday evening and marked Harris’s first sit-down interview since she effectively became the Democratic nominee after President Joe Biden announced his decision to exit the race.
“It’s been well over a month since Kamala Harris became the Democrat nominee and she finally decided to give an interview,” the Trump campaign said. “Kamala said her values ‘have not changed’ three separate times. She’s still a San Francisco radical.”
The reviews are in.
Kamala’s CNN interview was a total failure.

Trump’s campaign criticized Harris for dedicating minimal attention to crime, the economy, and immigration—three key issues that have been central to former President Donald Trump’s agenda.
“Kamala spoke for just over 16 minutes and didn’t even address the crime crisis in this nation. She spent a mere 3 minutes and 25 seconds talking about the economy and 2 minutes and 36 seconds talking about immigration,” Trump’s campaign said.
In the interview, Harris was questioned about her recent changes in rhetoric over the past month since becoming the Democratic nominee.
“Generally speaking, how should voters look at some of the changes that you have made, that you have explained some of here in your policy?” Bash asked. “And should they feel comfortable and confident that what you’re saying now is going to be your policy moving forward?”
“I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed,” the vice president responded.
I have a guilty confession to make. The Kamala Harris campaign was RIGHT to hide her from the press.

Trump directly responded to Harris’s remarks in a post on Truth Social, expressing his agreement with her.
“I just saw Comrade Kamala Harris’ answer to a very weakly-phrased question, a question that was put in more as a matter of defense than curiosity, but her answer rambled incoherently, and declared her ‘values haven’t changed,’” the former president posted. “On that I agree, her values haven’t changed – The Border is going to remain open, not closed, there will be Free Healthcare for Illegal Aliens, Sanctuary Cities, No Cash Bail, Gun Confiscation, Zero Fracking, a Ban on Gasoline-Powered Cars, Private Healthcare will be abolished, a 70-80% tax rate will be put in place, and she will Defund the Police. America will become a WASTELAND!”
