Trump Foils Haris’s Attempt To Break From Biden Policy

Former President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that Democratic nominee Kamala Harris should be held accountable for the current economic “suffering” she has contributed to alongside President Joe Biden.

Speaking to a large audience in Asheville, North Carolina, Trump emphasized his economic policy, outlining how a second Trump administration would tackle the economic challenges that have emerged under Biden and Harris.

The former president maintained that under their leadership, “the American dream is dead,” and urged Vice President Harris to clarify why Americans are experiencing economic difficulties.

“Kamala Harris wants to talk about her fantasies … she wants to talk for the future about these fantasies, but really what she needs to explain is the present suffering that she has caused along with Joe Biden,” Trump said. “And by the way, they’re a team. You know, she’s trying to throw him overboard. She doesn’t want to know who he is anymore. She doesn’t want to talk about him anymore. She says, ‘Let’s not bring this guy in’… no, no, they were a team. He appointed her as border czar, and she did the worst job in the history of borders.”

Harris is scheduled to visit North Carolina on Friday to address her economic policy. However, her speech is expected to be “relatively light on details,” according to The New York Times, which cited sources familiar with her plans.

The vice president’s specific positions have remained unclear, as she has avoided media appearances and has not held a press conference since being nominated by her party. Additionally, Harris’ campaign website has yet to release a detailed policy platform.

“She’s going to announce [her plan] this week maybe. She’s waiting for me to announce it so she can copy it,”  the former president said in reference to Harris copying his no tax on tips policy.

The vice president’s first campaign policy was the no tax on tips policy, which she directly copied from Trump, who made the promise before she even became the Democrat nominee.
