U.K. Prime Minister Supports Trump Calling Him an ‘Indomitable Spirit’

BORIS JOHNSON supports TRUMP

In an opinion piece published on Friday for the Daily Mail, former British prime minister Boris Johnson endorsed Donald Trump, stating that the former president was the best candidate for the position because “the world is at a crossroads.”

Recalling the attempt on the previous president’s life, Johnson wrote, “I believe that indomitable spirit is exactly what the world needs right now, and exactly what is needed in the White House.”

The former prime minister highlighted several possible and ongoing international crises, such as those in Taiwan, Europe, the Middle East, and Ukraine.

“Having talked to Donald Trump this week, I am more convinced than ever that he has the strength and the bravery to fix it, to save Ukraine, to bring peace — and to stop the disastrous contagion of conflict,” wrote Johnson. “I believe that Trump understands the reality: that a defeat for Ukraine would be a massive defeat for America.”

Johnson declared, “I believe that Trump can end it,” arguing that the Ukrainians have demonstrated their ability to win the war against Russia.

“He could construct a great deal for the world, in which Putin is ultimately persuaded that Ukraine’s future is as a free, sovereign, and independent European country; and that means a two-stage approach,” he stated.

If Trump prevails in November, he suggested, there may be an opportunity for “global rapprochement” with Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

However, strength is the only way to accomplish this goal. Under Trump, Washington will need to demonstrate that national boundaries must be upheld and that the Soviet Union cannot be reestablished through coercion,” Johnson wrote.

“Trump has a tremendous opportunity, if and when he regains power later this year, not only to erase the legacy of his predecessor but also to lead the globe into the future. Johnson added, “Donald Trump recognizes the risk that a Ukrainian defeat would exact a huge long-term cost on America and the world.”

The former prime minister continued by saying that Trump’s early response to the murder attempt demonstrated his “mettle for the job”.

Trump just escaped an attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania, when a gunshot missed his ear and the Secret Service raced to his defense.
