Veterans for Trump, also known as Veterans for America First, has thrown their support behind Kash Patel as the next FBI Director, joining the National Police Association who endorsed him last week.

The organization’s President, CPT Robert M. Cornicelli, stated, “Kash Patel’s commitment to justice, transparency, and the rule of law makes him uniquely qualified to lead the FBI and restore its mission to serve the American people with integrity.”

Following President Trump’s official nomination of Patel last month, attention has turned to his extensive background in national security and intelligence. His career includes serving as Department of Defense Chief of Staff and Deputy Director of National Intelligence during the Trump administration.

During his tenure as counter-terrorism lead under Trump, Patel played a crucial role in operations targeting ISIS leadership. His responsibilities included coordinating efforts to rescue American hostages and facilitate their return to U.S. soil.

His prosecutorial experience includes cases against ISIS and Al-Qa’ida members. Notable among these was his role as lead prosecutor in the World Cup bombing case in Uganda, where an American citizen and 75 others lost their lives. His time as Department of Defense Chief of Staff saw the conclusion of long-standing military engagements.

The Veterans for America First issued an official statement noting, “Kash Patel’s unparalleled leadership, dedication to national security, and unwavering loyalty to President Donald J. Trump make him the ideal candidate to restore trust and accountability to the FBI.”

Patel’s previous role as Chief of Staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller involved managing executive staff and providing strategic guidance. As Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council, he contributed to significant achievements including the elimination of key terrorist leaders.

His experience extends to overseeing all 17 intelligence community agencies as Principal Deputy to the Acting Director of National Intelligence. Earlier, he served on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where he led investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
