Will Biden’s MEDICAL CONDITION Prompt Him to Drop Out?

Biden’s MEDICAL CONDITION?

In what may be the strongest hint yet that President Biden is wavering on his promise to run for a second term, the president stated in a recent interview that he would think about withdrawing if doctors found a “medical condition” in him.

When asked what might cause the 81-year-old president to reevaluate his campaign, he made the comment in a BET interview that was recorded on Tuesday.

In a statement made public on Wednesday, Biden stated, “If I had some medical condition that emerged, if somebody, if doctors came to me and said, you got this problem and that problem.”

In the same interview, Biden stated that he felt the need to run for office once more since the nation was “so divided,” as opposed to acting as a “transitional” leader as he had stated in 2020.

He remarked, “I thought I would be able to move on from this and pass it on to somebody else, so I said I was going to be a transitional candidate.” However, I had no idea that people would become so, so, so split. To be really honest, I believe that the only thing that aging gives is a small amount of wisdom.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) declared on Wednesday that “it is time for him to pass the torch,” making him the 21st Democrat to do so in the House.

If Biden withdraws prior to the election on November 5, Vice President Kamala Harris, 59, is generally seen as the most likely replacement candidate; nevertheless, some Democrats worry that she would perform even worse.

Several medical professionals who examined Biden’s statements in public suggested that he might have Parkinson’s disease or a similar illness.

However, in the wake of his erratic, disoriented debate performance on June 27, which alarmed fellow Democrats about his mental preparedness for a second four-year term, the White House has so far maintained that Biden does not require a further medical examination.

On July 2, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated, “As it relates to, you know, something like a cognitive test… the medical team said it is not warranted in this case.”

“We have presented an extensive, open-minded yearly report on his condition. They have thus stated that is not justified. It’s not required.

Prior to the release of an annual medical report in February, the president underwent an evaluation by Dr. Kevin Cannard, a neurologist, in January, according to the White House.

Despite widespread worries from Democrats that he is headed for a crushing defeat against the 78-year-old Republican contender, former President Donald Trump, Biden has so far rejected requests to think about retirement.
