A woke doctor claimed in a tweet that President Joe Biden “epitomizes white supremacy” by allegedly working while sick with COVID-19.
Kimberly Sue, MD, who also happens to be an assistant professor of medicine at Yale University and the medical director of an organization that advocates for providing drug addicts with clean needles, made the remarks following claims from Biden that he was “getting a lot of work done” while sick with a mild COVID infection.
The 79-year-old president was experiencing “very mild symptoms,” according to an announcement from the White House on Thursday. The officials also noted that Biden is able to participate in regular meetings and is taking Paxlovid as an extra precaution.
“POTUS working while having COVID infection epitomizes white supremacy urgency in the workplace. Sets a bad example for everyone that he cannot rest. COVID infection is serious, symptoms debilitating for many, and ppl should take time off without working through it,” Sue wrote in a since-deleted post on her Twitter.
Critics took to Twitter to roast the woke doctor for her ridiculous post.
“Because working epitomizes ‘white supremacy?’ Can you hear yourself?” actor James Woods responded.
“Too many in the medical profession seem determined to beclown themselves,” wrote political commentator Rita Panahi.
“Working while sick is ‘White supremacy urgency.’ You definitely need a PhD to come up with something that insane,” said David Harsanyi, senior editor at The Federalist.
“Because people of color are lazy, right? Leftists can’t help outing themselves as the real racists,” replied columnist and author Larry Taunton.
“Putting the claims of ‘white supremacy’ to one side, surely a competent doctor would know better than to offer the exact same strictures to everyone infected with a disease that generates wildly varying symptoms,” responded Daniel W. Drezner, professor at The Fletcher School.
“This is perhaps the stupidest tweet I’ve seen on Twitter today,” said attorney Kurt Schlichter.
“This is what happens to the brains of people who view the world and all that is in it through the prism of race,” wrote Brit Hume, senior political analyst at Fox News.
Sue’s comments fall in line with the left’s increasingly radical worldview, as the Democrats continue to push so-called “anti-racist” talking points that claim many ordinary actions and beliefs are somehow values that represent “white supremacy.”
In 2020, the National Museum of African American History & Culture put out an objectively racist chart of dangerous signs of “whiteness” which included many positive attributes, which many critics argued implied that the museum thought that the opposite traits, which were negative, applied to people of color.
“The National Museum of African American History & Culture wants to make you aware of certain signs of whiteness: Individualism, hard work, objectivity, the nuclear family, progress, respect for authority, delayed gratification, more,” Byron York, chief political correspondent for the Washington Examiner, wrote in a post sharing the since-removed chart.
