A new drop from the Gun Owners of America’s recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request has uncovered that the FBI “coordinated secretly with hospitals and medical centers to strip U.S. citizens of their rights to own, buy, or even use firearms.”
These revelations come mere months after a different FOIA request put forth by GOA reported that the FBI had distributed a form that encourages Americans to “voluntarily” give up their right to bear arms. The document stipulates, “I may not be permitted to withdraw my name and information in the future.”
Originally, the form had been shared by Ammoland in 2019. This prompted GOA to file a FOIA request on the matter, which ultimately revealed numerous verified cases of FBI agents pushing for and ultimately receiving signatures from Americans to indefinitely lose their Second Amendment rights.
These forms were given to people by the FBI in their homes and other unknown locations, according to leaked documents revealed via the Freedom of Information Act. A minimum of 15 people signed their names on the forms between 2016 to 2019, which directed Americans to label themselves as either a “danger” or one without the “mental capacity adequately to contract or manage” their daily lives.
Attorneys who work in Second Amendment law have reportedly told the Daily Caller that such documents raise serious legal inquiries.
Now, a new report by The Washington Examiner has revealed that the FBI colluded with medical facilities to rip away the right to bear arms from at least five people. Pictures of the documents show hospital branding at the top followed by categories discussing an “NCIS Index Self-Submission Form.”
“Any time you have evidence of private entities coordinating with federal agents to strip Americans of their rights, the public should be alarmed and demanding answers and action,” commented Aidan Johnston, who serves as the federal affairs director for Gun Owners of America. “This is just the latest terrifying new instance of the illegal NICS self-submission form being used in nefarious ways, and those who used it to violate the public’s trust must be held to account.”
Other recent pro-Second Amendment remarks by Johnston include when he appeared on The Gorka Reality Check last year to discuss a gun control bill that at the time was recently signed by Joe Biden.
