Christian Ziegler, the vice chair of the Florida GOP, suggested that the Democrat Party is in massive trouble after a net total of one million relocated to the state since Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) assumed office.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Ziegler claimed, “Out of a million, about half a million have registered as Republican, and only 17,000 have registered as Democrats. So we’re just obliterating the Democrats.”
Such a figure is a troublesome sign for Florida’s Democrat Party; it represents only 1.7% of the new residents.
Ziegler first reacted to the figures incredulously, telling Breitbart, “I had to go back and redo the numbers because I just couldn’t believe it, but it ends up being true.”
He told the outlet that Florida has many “rockstars” that either serve or live there, including former President Donald Trump, Gov. DeSantis, and Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL).
“But you go really across our roster, we have a lot of rockstars, and my job as chairman would be to really make sure we’re all on the same page. We’re all moving forward together, we’re unified, and we’re ready to crush the Democrats in the November elections,” Ziegler said.
In the eyes of many conservatives, Gov. DeSantis has proven to stand strong against political extremism, whether it be in regards to Disney, Covid-19 tyranny, and leftist agendas such as critical race theory.
He handily won his gubernatorial reelection with 59.4% of the vote, trouncing his Democrat rival, Charlie Crist.
“Florida was a refuge of sanity when the world went mad,” DeSantis proclaimed during a speech following his win. “We stood as the citadel of freedom for people across this country and indeed, across the world. We faced attacks, we took the hits, we weathered the storms but we stood our ground.”
What Gov. DeSantis just said in his victory speech after getting RE-ELECTED made ground SHAKE as crowd ERUPTED into cheers:
"We will never ever surrender to the woke mob! Florida is where woke goes to die!"

Republicans are holding unprecedented leads against Democrats in Florida voter registration. As it stands, there are over 300,000 more Republicans than Democrats in the state, per Breitbart.
The GOP’s lead was attained for the first time in the state’s history around the end of 2021, according to reports.
This marks a massive change for Florida. According to DeSantis, Democrat voter registrations in the state outnumbered the GOP by 280,000 back when he was first elected governor.
